INGREDIENTS
- Stink Beans (Zawngtra in Hmar)
- Trevesia Palmata (Kawtebel in Hmar)
- Fermented Fish (Ngathu in Hmar)
- Dried Red Chilli (Hmarchatrawl in Hmar)
- Tomato
- Onion
- Oil
RECIPE
- Peel the outer covering skin of the whole Stink Beans.
- Cut and remove the sides of the Stink Beans.
- Cut the Stink Beans into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Wash and keep aside.
- Clean and remove the stem/shoots of Trevesia Palmata.
- Wash and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Fry sliced onion until brown.
- Add turmeric powder.
- Add Dried Red Chilli.
- Stir-fry in low flame for a minute.
- Add sliced Tomato.
- Fry for about 5-minute, stirring occasionally.
- Add Stink Beans, Trevesia Palmata and Salt.
- Cover it with a lid.
- Stir occasionally.
- Off the gas stove when the Stink Beans and Trevesia Palmata are fried soft.
