Purunsen le Alu Ngathu Hmarchadeng


  1. Potato
  2. Dried Red Chilli
  3. Fermented Fish
  4. Onion
  5. Salt


  1. After clean washing the Potato, boil it without peeling it.
  2. When cooked properly, soak it in water to let it cool.
  3. Peel and cut the potato and keep aside.
  4. Roast the Dried Red Chilli over fire without burning it.
  5. Roast the Fermented Fish over fire.
  6. Pound the Dried Red Chilli, Fermented Fish and Salt with a Mortar and Pestel.
  7. Add the Potato and mashed it along with the chilli, etc.
  8. Add sliced Onion.
  9. Mix it well.
  10. You can also add Coriander Leaves or Lomba leaves!
